Powell's comments on a potential end to the Fed's balance sheet runoff and flagging hiring slowdowns spurred a broad market rebound. This led to a rally in Russell, Nasdaq-100, S&P, and Dow futures, as well as an increase in gold, silver, copper, and WTI Crude Oil futures. With the Empire State Manufacturing Index showing strength and the Federal Reserve's Beige Book scheduled for release, markets are looking for more data. Traders are also awaiting a retail sales report and several key earnings from companies like United Airlines and Taiwan Semiconductor.
