Australian Dollar futures fell, nearing 1 1/2 month lows after trading lower in three of the last four sessions. This weakness was attributed to recent equity market volatility and central bank activity, with the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) potentially being more open to rate cuts. The Australian Dollar futures market is maintaining a pattern of lower highs and lower lows from mid-September highs, while the overall FX quadrant has seen mixed price action, with some currencies higher while the British Pound, Australian Dollar, and New Zealand Dollar fell.
