December Swiss Franc futures recorded their biggest single-day gain since September 16. The rise was supported by stronger-than-expected, though still negative, consumer climate data from Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. The franc also benefited from a broadly falling U.S. dollar, along with other major currencies like the yen, euro and pound.
