October Live Cattle futures settled higher while December Lean Hog futures fell. Feeder Cattle futures gained, but still posted its first monthly loss. The latest wholesale box beef report showed lower prices for both choice and select cuts. Additionally, the latest Commitment of Traders report revealed that funds still hold a net long position in both Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures.
