Gold futures rebounded after two sessions of weakness, with the December contract falling just short of its all-time high. The rally was supported by a slight drop in the dollar and traders' desire to hold the safe-haven asset over the weekend due to ongoing geopolitical risks. The rally marks the sixth consecutive weekly gain for gold futures.
