December Nasdaq-100 futures hit a new all-time high of 24,534, marking its ninth consecutive session of gains. The index is the strongest of the four major U.S. indices, with a number of "Mag 7" stocks including Tesla, Alphabet (Google's parent company), Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft powering the upside momentum. Traders are also anticipating a Federal Reserve rate cut at the upcoming FOMC meeting, which could further benefit tech companies by making future earnings more valuable and borrowing cheaper.
