October Live Cattle futures fell $2.30 to $229.97, settling lower for the second consecutive week. Feeder cattle also saw a significant loss, down $6.55 to $345.80, a second weekly lower close for that contract as well. October Lean Hog futures fell $1.05, cutting weekly gains. Weaker wholesale box beef reports and a decline in slaughter numbers were also noted.
