Stock index futures rallied as the Dow closed above 46,000 for the first time. This came after August CPI showed a higher-than-expected 0.4% monthly increase, while weekly jobless claims also soared. Markets are now anticipating the Fed will lower rates next week. Meanwhile, option volumes picked up, with short-term call buying increasing, while short-term Russell options saw a bearish turn. Bitcoin and Ether also rallied.
