E-mini S&P 500 futures continued to move higher, setting a new all-time high at 6,565 and closing near 6,540. The move higher in equities is attributed to expectations of coming rate cuts from the Federal Reserve, with markets pricing in a 25-basis point cut next week. Volatility remained largely unchanged, holding just above year-to-date lows. Tomorrow's US CPI data will be a key focus, as it could influence the Fed's decision at next week's FOMC meeting.
