WTI Crude Oil futures started strong but failed against the 200-day moving average. The EU and the U.S. are coordinating new measures to increase pressure on Russia's oil sector amid the conflict with Ukraine. In the meantime, Gulf oil producers, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, appear to be favoring market share over higher prices, which could cause rifts within the OPEC+ alliance.
