Grain futures were under pressure after a crop progress report showed a decrease in good-to-excellent conditions for both corn and soybeans. Soybean conditions saw a 4% decline to 65% good-to-excellent, while corn conditions fell 2% to 69% but were in line with expectations. Analysts noted that with the corn crop all but made, lower volatility may be seen through the fall and winter, while soybean weather could still have a meaningful impact.
