Grain futures markets were mixed as corn rallied to finish higher despite being lower earlier in the day. December Corn futures ended 2.75 cents higher at $4.23. November Soybean futures were down 13.5 cents to $10.41, while December Wheat futures fell 6 cents to $5.28. Weekly export inspection reports for all three commodities surpassed expectations. The most recent Commitment of Traders report revealed that managed money funds have reduced their net short position in corn to the smallest level seen since May.
