Euro futures reversed a three-day rally, trading as low as 1.1613 before closing at 1.1640. Volatility in the euro futures market increased to its highest level in almost a month. According to the latest data, speculators have added to their net long positions, holding at the highest level in over 18 months. The euro remains up approximately 2% since early August.
