Equity markets traded moderately higher with the S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, and Dow futures all up. The Russell-2000 futures gained nearly 1%. The July durable goods orders report showed a 2.8% decline, dragged down by weak commercial aircraft sales, although excluding transportation, orders were up 1.1%. Consumer confidence data fell in August as views on the labor market worsened. Bitcoin traded largely unchanged while Ether was up almost 3%.
