U.S. equities were mixed Thursday, with the Russell 2000 down but the Dow and Nasdaq near flat. Front-end Treasury yields rose, while the dollar moved higher, pushing Gold, Silver and Copper futures lower. WTI Crude Oil futures were up 1.4%. U.S. jobless claims were better than expected and U.K. GDP and industrial production were stronger than anticipated. U.S. PPI saw its fastest pace of growth in three years in July. Markets expect U.S. retail sales data to show a gain of 0.5% month over month.
