Live and Feeder Cattle futures plunged Friday as funds appeared to unwind long positions ahead of the weekend. Boxed beef prices stayed firm, but liquidation weighed heavily. Lean Hog futures closed mixed, with August contracts barely moving despite steady demand indicators. Oliver Sloup has more.
