Gold futures held steady after early gains and a two-day decline, as prices remained within a defined technical range. Chart patterns show resistance near $3,400 and support at $3,225. Copper prices fell over 1% due to reduced demand for electrical wire in China, despite longer-term supply constraints. Phil Streibel explains.
