Yields continued to rise Wednesday, with the 10-Year Treasury Note closing at 4.53%—up 43 basis points since the start of May. Volatility, which had been falling, turned higher alongside the yield spike. Traders now await Thursday’s data slate: Empire State Manufacturing, PPI, Retail Sales and remarks from Fed Chair Powell.
