The British pound rallied Friday, closing the week up 0.42% after a late-session rebound erased earlier losses. This marked the fourth positive week out of the last five. The Bank of England cut rates Thursday but struck a cautious tone, helping support the pound. MPC members Bailey and Pill emphasized inflation risks over tariff uncertainty. Bob Iaccino explains.
