Gold futures fell below $3,400 Tuesday, down over 1% as U.S.-China trade talks eased safe-haven demand. The dollar strengthened, and China added to its gold reserves for a sixth straight month. Industrial metals slipped after China cut a key lending rate. Phillip Streible has more.
