Revised Schedule for Suspension of Warranting and Delisting of ME Alcoa Aluminum Brand

(This SER supersedes SER #7154 dated July 29, 2014 to reflect amended schedule.)

Effective close of trading Wednesday, August 20, 2014, the Commodity Exchange, Inc. (COMEX or Exchange) will suspend the registration (warranting) of the ME Alcoa aluminum brand onto COMEX warrants for delivery against the Aluminum futures contract.  As such, any unwarranted aluminum of ME Alcoa brand will no longer be deemed eligible at that time.

Any currently registered (warranted) ME Alcoa aluminum or any ME Alcoa aluminum placed on warrant through Wednesday, August 20, 2014 will continue to be deliverable against the COMEX Aluminum futures contract until the warrant is cancelled. Once the warrant is cancelled, the material cannot be rewarranted.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will be notified of this brand suspension and delisting during the week of August 25, 2014 via the weekly notification procedures set out in Part 40 of the CFTC Regulations.
