Temporary Amendment to the Listing Schedule for Gold Weekly Option, Silver Weekly Option, and Copper Weekly Option Contracts

Please be advised that due to operational enhancements, the Commodity Exchange, Inc. (COMEX or Exchange) will temporarily amend the listing schedules for the Gold Weekly Option (Rulebook chapter 1008; commodity codes:  OG1-OG5), Silver Weekly Option (Rulebook chapter 1009; commodity codes:  SO1-SO5), and Copper Weekly Option (Rulebook chapter 1010; commodity codes:  H1E-H5E) contracts as set forth below. The Exchange shall revert back to the conventional listing schedules in August 2014. These contracts are currently listed for trading on CME Globex and the COMEX trading floor. Please note that effective for trade date Monday, August 11, 2014, these contracts will also be available for submission for clearing via CME ClearPort (see SER-7111R dated July 2, 2014).

*In all instances, the temporary amended listing schedule provides that these contracts are listed on Tuesday for trade date Wednesday instead of the conventional listing schedule of Sunday for trade date Monday. 

The Exchange will notify the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) of the temporary amendment to the listing schedules for the above mentioned Gold Weekly Option, Silver Weekly Option, and  Copper Weekly Option contracts  during the week of July 14, 2014, via the weekly notification procedures set forth in Part 40 of the CFTC Regulations.
