Effective immediately, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME or Exchange) is revising the last trading day for the September 2013 futures expiration in the Standard-Sized and E-Micro Indian Rupee/U.S. Dollar (INR/USD) futures contracts to Thursday, September 26, 2013.
According to CME rules 27901.G. and 29601.G., respectively, the last trading day in Standard-Sized and E-Micro INR/USD futures is two Indian business days immediately preceding the last Indian business day of the contact month. Since the Reserve Bank of India has declared that Monday, September 30, 2013 is no longer an official Mumbai banking holiday, CME is therefore revising the last trading day for the September 2013 futures expiration in both INR/USD futures contracts from Wednesday, September 25, 2013 to Thursday, September 26, 2013.
Standard-Sized and E-Micro INR/USD futures are listed by and subject to the rules of CME.
