• Expansion of Contract Month Listing Schedule for Iron Ore Futures on CME Globex

    • Effective Sunday, August 25, 2013 for trade date Monday, August 26, 2013, and pending all relevant CFTC regulatory review periods, the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX or Exchange) will expand its contract month listing rule for the Iron Ore 62% Fe, CFR China (TSI) Futures contract (chapter 919, commodity code TIO) on the CME Globex trading platform.
       
      The new listing schedule will be the current year plus the next two calendar years.
       
      These contracts will continue to be listed on the NYMEX trading floor and for submission for clearing through CME ClearPort with an unchanged listing schedule, i.e. the current year plus the next two calendar years.
       
      In addition, effective Sunday, August 25, 2013 for trade date Monday, August 26, 2013, the Iron Ore 62% Fe, CFR China (TSI) Futures contract will be available in strips of contract months representing calendar quarters (three-month strips) and calendar years (twelve month strips), with such strips being available as can be created within the CME Globex contract month listing schedule.
