• Reminder Concerning the Prohibition of Firearms and Weapons on the Trading Floors

    • Illinois recently passed the Firearm Concealed Carry Act and you may have already seen signage prohibiting individuals from carrying firearms in CME Group locations and other buildings.  

      The new law does not change existing CME Group policy prohibiting the possession of firearms or other weapons on the trading floor by any member, their employee or their guest pursuant to the Access, Conduct and Appearance Code set forth in the Interpretations & Special Notices Section of Chapter 5 of each Exchange’s Rulebook.
