    • On January 27, 2014, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME or Exchange) issued a Special Executive Report S-7010 concerning (i) the adoption of an appendix to CME Chapter 7 containing the current live cattle maximum daily grading capacities at approved stockyards and (ii) implementation of amendments to Rule 704 (Approved Stockyards and Slaughter Plants for Live Cattle) allowing for the Exchange, in its sole discretion, to determine and publish maximum daily delivery limits at stockyards that have been approved by the Exchange for the delivery of live cattle resulting from delivery obligations resulting from transactions in CME Live Cattle futures contracts.
While the current live cattle maximum daily grading capacities at approved stockyards (provided below for your convenience) are unchanged and continue to remain in effect beginning with the February 2014 live cattle delivery cycle and while the Exchange’s procedures for determining and approving, in its sole discretion, maximum daily delivery limits at stockyards remain unchanged, their incorporation into CME Chapter 7 will not occur on February 10 as previously announced.
