Producer Name Changes for Gold and Copper Brands

Please be advised that Commodity Exchange, Inc. (COMEX or Exchange) will implement amendments to Supplement No. 1, “Official List of Approved Brands and Markings” of the Exchange’s Copper futures contract and Supplement No. 1, “Official List of Approved Brands and Refiners” of the Exchange’s Gold futures contract as follows: 

·         Xstrata has notified the Exchange that its copper brand, “LBF”, currently listed under the producer name, “Compania Minera Falconbridge Lomas Bayas”, deliverable against the Exchange’s Copper futures contract, is to be listed under the producer name, “Compania Minera Xstrata Lomas Bayas.”

·         The Perth Mint has notified the Exchange that its gold brand, “The Perth Mint Australia” under the producer name, AGR Joint Venture, currently deliverable against the Exchange’s Gold futures contract, is to be listed under the producer name, Western Australia Mint trading as “The Perth Mint”. 

Please view the attached amendments with additions to the supplements underscored and deletions overstruck. 

The aforementioned producer name changes become effective on Monday, October 17, 2011.
