• Administrative Amendments to Chapter 5, Position Limit, Position Accountability and Reportable Level Table of the NYMEX Rulebook in Relation to the Migration of NYMEX Environmental Futures and Option Contracts to the Green Exchange LLC

      The administrative, non-substantive amendments to the Position Limit, Position Accountability and Reportable Level Table located in the Interpretations and Special Notices Section of Chapter 5 of the NYMEX Rulebook relate to the migration of forty-two (42) NYMEX environmental futures and options contracts to the Green Exchange LLC. The 42 contracts were last available for trading on NYMEX on trade date January 21, 2011, and the corresponding 28 rule chapters were delisted from the NYMEX Rulebook. The slate of environmental products was migrated to the Green Exchange, LLC, a Designated Contract Market, on trade date January 24, 2011. 
       
      The administrative amendments are intended to (1) remove any references to the NYMEX Rulebook chapter numbers previously assigned to those contracts; and (2) include a reference to the product chapter numbers for the contracts as assigned in the Green Exchange Rulebook. These changes will be made effective on trade date February 17, 2011.
       
      Please note that those contracts continue to be listed in the Position Limit, Position Accountability and Reportable Level Table located in the Interpretations and Special Notices Section of Chapter 5 of the NYMEX Rulebook due to a services agreement between NYMEX and the Green Exchange pursuant to which NYMEX performs market surveillance functions to those contracts.
