REVISED: Delay in Expansion of Contract Months for Certain Heating Oil-Based Option Contracts
This Special Executive Report (SER) 5231R supersedes SER-5231, issued on May 6, 2010.
With regard to the heating oil-based option contracts listed below, please be advised that the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX or Exchange) is delaying the expansion of listed contract months such that the new effective date is Sunday, May 16, 2010 for trade date Monday, May 17, 2010. Please note that the expansion of contract months for these contracts was previously scheduled to take effect on May 10, 2010.
The previously-announced expansion of contract months for the heating oil-based futures contracts listed below is intact and will occur as previously scheduled on Sunday, May 9, 2010 for trade date Monday, May 10, 2010. These futures and option contracts are subject to the rules and regulations of NYMEX.
