• CME GROUP ANNOUNCES THE DELISTING OF CME$INDEX FUTURES AND OPTIONS CONTRACTS, EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2010

    • On Thursday, April 1, 2010, Chicago Mercantile Exchange provided certified notice to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission that effective as of the notice, both the CME$INDEX futures and options on futures contracts have been delisted from trading on both the open outcry trading floor and CME Globex®. The CME$INDEX futures last traded in Second Quarter 2008. There is no open interest in either the CME$INDEX futures or options. In accordance with this action, CME will be deleting Chapters 404 – CME$INDEX™ Futures and 404A –Options on CME$INDEX™ Futures from the CME Rulebook.
