Effective Friday, January 15, 2010, Commodity Exchange, Inc. (“COMEX” or “Exchange”) will implement amendments to Supplement No. 1, “Official List of Approved Brands and Markings” of the Exchange’s Copper Futures contract. The amendments will reflect the producer name change for Exchange Approved Brands, NORANDA and FKA to Xstrata Canada Corporation.
Xstrata Canada Inc. notified the Exchange that its copper brands “Noranda” and “FKA” are now to be listed under the producer name, Xstrata Canada Corporation. Please view the attached amendments with additions to the supplements underscored and deletions overstruck. The producer name change for cathode brands NORANDA and FKA becomes effective on trade date Friday, January 15, 2010.
