SPENCE Copper Brand to be an Approved Brand for Delivery Against COMEX's Copper Futures Contract

Effective Wednesday, December 9, 2009, Commodity Exchange, Inc. (“COMEX” or the “Exchange”) will add the SPENCE copper brand, produced by Minera Spence S.A., as an Approved Brand to be acceptable for delivery against the Exchange’s Copper Futures contract. As such, the Exchange will amend the Copper Futures contract, Supplement No. 1, “Official List of Approved Brands and Markings” to reflect the addition of the SPENCE copper brand.
