Administrative Amendments to NYMEX Rules 9A.26 and 9A.27 for Six (6) SO2 Emission 25-Allowance Futures Contracts

Effective July, 21, 2009, the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. is amending the all month/any one month accountability levels (Rule 9A.26), expiration month position limits (Rule 9A.27) and aggregation allocations for six (6) sulfur dioxide (SO₂) emission 25-allowance futures contracts that were launched on July 13, 2009.  These amendments correct inadvertent administrative clerical errors.

Please note that the amendments to Appendix A attached herewith reflect expiration month position limits expressed in the futures equivalent of the contract into which the SO₂ Emission 25-Allowance Futures contracts aggregate.  Therefore, the expiration month position limits of the SO₂ Emission 25-Allowance Futures contracts continue to be 10,000 contracts or 2,500 RS-equivalent contracts, as reflected in the attached amendment to Appendix A.
