    • This past Thursday, July 1, 2010, coverage was suspended by the National Hurricane Center  for Hurricane Alex,  the first named storm of the season. This storm has dissipated over the mountains of central Mexico. 

       

      Trading in HX1, X12, HP1 and P12 will terminate at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, July 7, 2010.

       

      The final settlement values are as follows:

       

      • for HX1 (for CME Hurricane Index futures & options on Hurricane Alex)
      • for X12 (for CME Hurricane Index Binary Contract on Hurricane Alex)
      • for HP1 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box futures & options on Hurricane Alex)
      • for P12 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box Binary Contract on Hurricane Alex)

       

       At this time, there is no open interest in any of the futures or options for either HX2 or HP2.

       

      In addition, the next contract in all four both sequences should be listed for trading on Wednesday, July 7, 2010

       

      • HX4 (for CME Hurricane Index futures & options on Hurricane Danielle)
      • X42 (for CME Hurricane Index Binary Contract on Hurricane Danielle)
      • HP4 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box futures & options on Hurricane Danielle)
      • P42 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box Binary Contract on Hurricane Danielle)
