Delisting of COMEX miNY Silver Futures (QI) Back Month Contracts – Effective, Monday, August 17, 2009

Effective Monday, August 17, 2009, the following COMEX miNY Silver Futures (QI) contracts Jan 2010, Mar 2010, May 2010, Jul 2010 and Sept 2010 months with zero open interest will be delisted.

As a reminder, we are currently in the process of delisting the COMEX miNY Gold Futures (50 Troy Ounces) (QO) and COMEX miNY Silver Futures (2,500 Troy Ounces) (QI) contracts.  The COMEX miNY Gold Futures and COMEX miNY Silver Futures contract months will continue to be delisted on an ongoing basis as open interest in these contracts unwinds and there will be no additional months listed for trading. These contracts are being replaced with the cash-settled E-mini Gold Futures (33 Troy Ounces) and E-mini Silver Futures (1,000 Troy Ounces) contracts which became available for trading on Globex on April 20, 2009. .
