As previously, announced NYMEX’s version of ITC 2.1 will be replaced with CME Group’s version of ITC 2.1. On October 5, 2009, CME Group will begin a three-part decommission phase of NYMEX’s version ITC 2.1. Please review the timeline below which outlines ticker test, mock trading sessions and transition dates.

July 2009
24-Jul
COMEX Ticker Test #1 will begin approximately at 5:00 p.m. (Chicago Time)
*25-Jul
COMEX Test Data #1 will be disseminated between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. (Chicago Time). Please note this will be a replay of Friday’s test data.
31-Jul
COMEX Ticker Test #2 will begin approximately at 5:00 p.m. (Chicago Time)
August 2009
*1-Aug
COMEX Test Data #2 will be disseminated between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. (Chicago Time). Please note this will be a replay of Friday’s test data
7-Aug

*During the Saturday, testing market data for blocks and settlements will be disseminated over the new COMEX. NYMEX, and DME channels between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. (Chicago Time). Please disregard this information.
**Effective with these dates the NYMEX version of ITC 2.1 and corresponding MDP channels for COMEX, NYMEX, and DME Non-Globex will no longer be available.
For your convenience, we have created an ITC 2.1 comparison document, which provides details regarding the NYMEX’s version of ITC 2.1 and the final state of CME Group version of ITC 2.1. The CME Final State column reflects the additional messages types, which will be reflected in CME Group’s version of ITC 2.1 these changes will affect all consumers of CME Group ITC 2.1 market data.
