Globex ITC Category Code I (Volume and Open Interest) Dissemination - Effective Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Effective Tuesday, June 23, 2009, CME Group will begin disseminating composite Category Code I (Volume and Open Interest) messages via the CME Globex ITC channels utilizing the Globex ticker symbols. This functionality is currently utilized to disseminate CBOT, KCBT, and MGEX composite Category Code I (Volume and Open Interest) down their respective Globex ITC channels. Please review the Category Code I messages dissemination state below.

Category Code I Dissemination:

·          New - Composite Category Code I messages (Volume and Open Interest) will be disseminated via the Globex channels utilizing their Globex trading symbols.

·          Composite Category Code I message (Volume and Open Interest) will be disseminated via the Floor  ITC channels utilizing their floor trading symbols.

CME Group will introduce this functionality to the NYMEX, COMEX and DME Globex ITC channels later this year at a date to be announced in future Market Data Operation notices.
