As previously announced, starting September 19, 2008, CME Group will no longer list the Russell 2000 and E-mini Russell Futures and Options contracts, due to the termination of CME Group’s contractual listing rights. As a result, CME Group is extending the CME Globex listing of the September 2008 big Russell 2000 futures contract from Thursday, September 11 to Friday, September 19, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. Central time (CT). The Russell 2000 will expire with the September 2008 contract and no December contract will be available.
In addition, the Russell 2000 Cash and Russell 1000 Indexes will no longer be disseminated via the CME MDP. Please reference the table below for further details.
