Hurricane Settlements and Activations

On Monday, August 22, coverage was suspended by the National Hurricane Center for Tropical Storm Harvey, the eighth named storm of the season.

Trading in HX8, X82, HP8 and P82 will terminate this Tuesday, August 30 at 9:00 a.m. Central Time (CT).

The final settlement values are as follows:

• 0.0 for HX8 (for CME Hurricane Index futures and options on Hurricane Harvey)
• 0.0 for X82 (for CME Hurricane Index Binary Contract on Hurricane Harvey)
• 0.0 for HP8 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box futures and options on Hurricane Harvey)
• 0.0 for P82 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box Binary Contract on Hurricane Harvey)

At this time there is no open interest in any of the futures or options for HX8, X82, HP8 or P82.

In addition, the next contract in all four sequences will be listed for trading on Tuesday, August 30:

• HG1 (for CME Hurricane Index futures and options on Hurricane Katia)
• G1B (for CME Hurricane Index Binary Contract on Hurricane Katia)
