Hurricane Settlments and Activations

On Tuesday, August 16, coverage was suspended by the National Hurricane Center for Tropical Storm Gert, the seventh named storm of the season.

Trading in HX7, X72, HP7 and P72 will terminate this Wednesday, August 24 at 9:00 a.m. Central Time (CT).

The final settlement values are as follows:

• 0.0 for HX7 (for CME Hurricane Index futures and options on Hurricane Gert)
• 0.0 for X72 (for CME Hurricane Index Binary Contract on Hurricane Gert)
• 0.0 for HP7 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box futures and options on Hurricane Gert)
• 0.0 for P72 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box Binary Contract on Hurricane Gert)

At this time there is no open interest in any of the futures or options for HX7, X72, HP7 or P72.

In addition, the next contract in all four sequences will be listed for trading on Wednesday, August 24:

• HX0 (for CME Hurricane Index futures and options on Hurricane Jose)
• X02 (for CME Hurricane Index Binary Contract on Hurricane Jose)
• HP0 (for CME Hurricane Index Cat-In-A-Box futures and options on Hurricane Jose)
