CME Direct Release 10.3

The CME Direct release version 10.3 originally rolled out on November 1, has been rescheduled for re-release on Sunday, November 15 (for trade date Monday, November 16). This upgrade will require users to open the application from their Start menu -> CME Group folder. Launching CME Direct from a desktop icon will not properly load the new version.

New features:

• Cabinet prices will now be available for options
• The Strategy Builder will now auto-calculate a delta for hedging purposes
• Protection for covered options restricts users from entering order quantities lower than required to fully cover the strategy
• Add products in your Trading Grid from a smart search field
• Copy and email details of a cross trade to the trade owners
• Sounds and pop up alerts for desk trades

Strategy Browser Enhancements

• Drag-and-drop futures and options strategies into your trading grid
• Search for existing strategies with easy filters, including crush spreads
• Search by option strategy type and strike price
• Option to enable Auto-Calc for deltas

Market Activity window improvements

• Sounds are now available
• Query Globex options market activity over a 24-hour period

Excel add-in

• New functions to retrieve RFQs, Block Trades, and Cross Trades in real-time.
