Critical Security Upgrades Needed

As part of CME Group’s commitment to information security, we are introducing a number of changes in the next two releases of CME Direct, planned for March 30 and May 4.

Please make sure that your systems are upgraded by the dates below so that you do not experience a disruption in using CME Direct.

UPGRADE BY MARCH 30: Microsoft .NET version 4.0

Beginning March 30, CME Direct will run on Microsoft .NET version 4.0 or higher. Any users who do not have this installed should upgrade to version 4.5.2, the most secure version of the .NET framework.

Note that Windows XP does not support .NET 4.5 or higher.

UPGRADE BY MAY 4: Microsoft .NET version 4.5

Beginning May 4, CME Direct will run on Microsoft .NET version 4.5 or higher Windows XP users will need to upgrade their Windows operating system before this date.

Visit the Microsoft website to view the latest .NET system requirements. Users without administrative rights on their PCs should contact their local desktop support staff for assistance with this install.
