      New - Required Use of Previously Reported SDR Field and Changes to DTCC SDR LEI

      When entering a swap (OPNT) transaction on CME ClearPort, CME Group will, by default, report the trade (both Real-time and Primary Economic Terms) to CME Swap Data Repository (SDR). If ‘Primary Economic Terms Only’ option is selected, CME ClearPort Users must select the SDR where the report was made by selecting from the ‘Previously Reported to SDR’ drop down. Effective immediately, CME ClearPort now supports all three non-CME Swap Data Repositories (SDRs) in the drop down.

      Please note that accurate selection of the associated SDR is critical as it is used to know which should receive a termination notice by CME Clearing on the original bilateral trade (alpha).

      With respect to DTCC’s SDR, please note the new legal entity name and associated LEI below.

      Non CME SDRs
      Name LEI
      ICE Trade Vault, LLC 549300KE78SX8RVDNO58
      Bloomberg SDR, LLC 5493006SPIZKPPCPBB70
      DTCC Data Repository (U.S.) LLC (New) 549300H9ZM7RDBM87W85

      The previously supported Depository Trust &Clearing Corporation LEI of MLDY5N6PZ58ZE60QU102 is the parent organization of DTCC Data Repository (U.S.) LLC. It remains available for trade submissions for an undetermined period of time to aid in migration to the newer name and LEI; however, it has been updated to ‘Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (Old)’.

      Please contact CME Swap Data Repository with any questions.

      CME ClearPort Access Enhancement

      CME ClearPort SMART Click Integration Extended

      On Sunday, January 11, 2015 (trade date Monday, January 12), CME ClearPort user authentication and authorization transitioned to SMART Click.

      SMART Click is a secure web-based interface that can be used by customers to manage profile and user ID information. SMART Click offers the following benefits:

      • Access to all permissioned SMART Click integrated systems with one user ID and password;
      • A single user ID with permissions for multiple firms when appropriate;
      • A personally chosen user ID that is retained by the user even when changing employers or firm relationships;
      • The ability to self-manage SMART Click password and update SMART Click profiles online.

      With this change, CME ClearPort users will be able to:

      • Consolidate entitlements across multiple CME ClearPort user IDs into a single SMART Click ID
        • Submit and/or view trades for all of your entitled firm and individual entities from a single SMART Click ID
        • One-click consolidated access to all entitled CME ClearPort Reports, regardless of legacy role
      • Navigate CME ClearPort and CME ClearPort Reports with a new common navigation bar
        • And access other SMART Click-enabled CME Group applications, per your entitlements

      Existing CME ClearPort users will be required to transition their entitlements to a SMART Click ID before using SMART Click to access the application. Additional information on this process is available online.

      Current CME ClearPort user IDs will be decommissioned on Friday, May 15, 2015, and CME ClearPort will be accessible via SMART Click only.

      During the claiming period, Firm Verification Officers will have the ability to run a Legacy Claim User report in CME ClearPort Reports to monitor the SMART Click transition process of registered users at their firm. This report can be run for specific user roles and to verify migration status of Legacy User IDs.

      This change is currently available in New Release for customer testing.
