CME Account Manager Notices: Download and Upload of User Level Clip Sizes

Starting Sunday, May 17 (trade date Monday, May 18), CME Account Manager will allow Clearing Member Administrators, whose firms are associated with CME Globex enabled-accounts, the ability to upload and download user level clip sizes. This change provides Administrators a more efficient way to set or modify user clip sizes.

Download Features:

Clearing Member Administrators will have the option to download all products per user into an xls file from either:

• User Max Qty Limits Search screen via a new column: # of Products Set.
  • # of Products Set shows number of products for which a clip size limit is set. This column will have a value of either:
    • The number of products that have clip size value other than the default value
    • "Not Set" if all products include the default clip size value of "unlimited"
  • Clicking a value will download an xls file with all of the users' clip size information
  • Any clip sizes with the value "unlimited" will be downloaded as a blank cell

OR

• The User Max Qty Limits Detail screen, via a new Download button.
  • Clicking the Download button will download an xls file with all of the users' clip size information
  • Any clip sizes with the value "unlimited" will be downloaded as a blank cell

Upload Features:

Clearing Member Administrators will have the option to upload user clip sizes from the User Max Qty Limits Detail screen using a new Upload button or from the UPLOAD tab.

• An 'X,' 'x,' or '*' in the "ACTION" column indicates a row will be processed in an upload
• Multiple users can be uploaded via the same spreadsheet
• User uploads will be validated for user and Clearing Firm information
• A blank cell, where no clip size is indicated, will result in an "unlimited" clip size value

This functionality will be available in New Release for customer testing on Wednesday, May 6.
