Addition of Trading Venue for Four (4) Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) CO2 Allowance Futures with Specific Vintage Years

On Sunday, March 7, 2010 for trade date Monday, March 8, 2010, New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX or Exchange) will offer for trading on CME Globex four (4) Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) CO₂ Allowance Futures for vintage years 2009 through 2012 which were previously listed on the Exchange on January 25, 2010.  These contracts are currently available for trading on the NYMEX trading floor and for submission for clearing through CME ClearPort, a set of flexible clearing services open to over the counter (OTC) market participants to substantially mitigate counterparty risk and provide capital efficiencies across asset classes. 

These contracts are listed by NYMEX, and are subject to rules and regulations of NYMEX and Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc.
