    • As many of you are aware, we successfully completed Phase I of our FTP and SFTP system conversion which targeted all firms using our legacy Internet connection architecture for the transmission and receipt of clearing files, to our new system. This past work pertained to the URL sftpng.cmegroup.com.
       
      Next we will address the conversion of all clearing member firm WAN (Leased Line) file transfers from the legacy system to the new CME infrastructure.
       
      All clearing member firms will be required to complete their conversion from the legacy WAN environment to the new FTP and/or SFTP environment by Sept. 30th, 2011in order to achieve higher levels of security and fault tolerance in the transmission and receipt of all regulatory and clearing data files, such as Large Trader, Clearing Register, and PCS, SPAN or Settlement Price files.
