    • On March 26, 2010, Shareholders of Allied Capital Corporation (ALD) voted concerning the proposed merger with Ares Capital Corporation (ARCC).  The merger was approved and subsequently consummated on April 1, 2010.  As a result, each existing ALD Common Share will converted into the right to receive .325 ARCC Common Shares.  Cash will paid in lieu of fractional ARCC shares.

      This action will be coordinated with the Options Clearing Corporation.
