      per DO Common Share. The record date is February 12, 2010; payable date is March 1, 2010.

      The exdistribution date for this distribution will be February 10, 2010. Diamond Offshore has

      characterized this dividend as special and has distinguished it from the regular quarterly

      dividend payable on the same date.
