As previously announced, any current CME, CBOT, NYMEX and/or COMEX clearing firm (“CME Clearing Firm”) that wishes to clear Green Exchange-listed contracts beginning January 24, 2011, must apply for and be approved as a Green Exchange Clearing Member. There are two documents which must be executed to apply for such membership.
The first document is the Green Exchange LLC Participant Application and Agreement, which is available at:
http://nymex.greenfutures.com/docs/Green_Exchange_Participant_Application_and_Agreement.pdf
The second document is the Application for Clearing Membership on Green Exchange LLC and Agreement for Pre-authorized Payments (ACH Debit Agreement), which is available at:
http://www.cmegroup.com/company/membership/files/GreenExchangeApp.pdf
Both documents should be returned to Joseph D. Sanguedolce, CME Group, One North End Avenue, New York, NY 10282.
Please note also that CME Clearing Firms with existing CME Customer Connection Agreements will need to complete a new Exhibit B to Schedule 6 – the Participating Exchange Clearing Firm Guarantee and Acknowledgement. When completing the new Exhibit, note that your Clearing Number(s) for Green Exchange as a Participating Exchange will be the same as the Clearing Number(s) for NYMEX.
All CME Customer Connection Agreement forms (for access to CME Globex) are available at:
http://www.cmegroup.com/connectionagreement
Completed forms should be returned to your CME Global Account Manager. For more information about the connection agreements, please contact 312-634-8700 or globalaccountmanagement@cmegroup.com.
