    • On August 5, 2009, CME will begin clearing trades in the 2009 season for Hurricane Risk Landfall Options – HuRLOs™. This innovative new product is offered by Weather Risk Solutions, LLC (WRS).
       
      HuRLOs are commodity options on whether and where on the U.S. Atlantic or Gulf coast a hurricane will make landfall first. For example, the Dec 09 W2FBW HuRLO is automatically exercised and pays to the buyer if the second storm of hurricane-strength following the HuRLO 2009 product launch makes landfall first in Broward County, Florida.
